We absolutely LOVE this place. Water is always great and the rural rustic vibe really settles the soul. If you like stars, relaxation, and hot springs then include El Dorado in your travel plans. Matt, the Manager, is sensible, friendly and very accommodating. Thanks to all at EDHS for always making our stays memorable.
Funky place to stay. Is has clean hotsprings and good water. The camping was pleasant but noisy due to the springs being so close to the highway.
We love this place. It is so private, quiet and relaxing. Great camping sites. I take my kids out here regularly. Call ahead and reserve a private soaking area. At $15/hour per person it is a really great deal. Kids are always free.
This place is very rustic the owners are easygoing, people that run it are fantastic, great getaway. it's not an all nude resort, but in the hot springs bath area it is all nude. there seems to be one cabin for lease great price $90 for two for an evening, it's in the all nude area which is also fantastic, otherwise it's camping in the area bring a tent $35. a day I think for the evening $75. for a camp area. what a blast, all the locals enjoy it as well, coed. give it a try I think you really enjoy.
I've been visiting here for over 20 years. There are hot tubs pumped up through geothermal springs. The hot water, which comes out at 105 degrees, more or less, contains lithium which is really good to relax in. The water has no sulfur so there is no smell to it. On my way home, I am usually extremely relaxed. There is an outside sink with a water spout to fill up mu 5 gallon water jugs. The water is very good for drinking. There are private cabins available there for rent. Years ago, under different management, the facilities seemed to be maintained a little better than they are today and the prices were lower. Otherwise I would give them 5 stars. It's a perfect 1 hour visit all the way up to an overnight stay.
